One Word

One word – a lovely web 2.0 website offering a new word each time with a writing space and 1 minute to write in it.

I am sure it could be used occasionally as a tool to develop descriptive writing for young children. It is an instant activity – no prep, not much time needed, the sort of thing I used to do in registration, to finish the morning session etc., whenever there was a minute to spare 🙂
